You enter through the gate to the car park this has been planted
with semi cultivated plants to give year round colour and a wicker
living fence hedge which will form a living outdoor room. The
curving track meanders through the woodland. On the left hand
side is the area set aside for the scattering of ashes and is
covered with wild flower seeds which include poppies, hawks bit, burdock, thistle,
celandines & primroses. Some trees have been planted to give
an idea of the intended structure of the woodland. Along the left
hand side and the furthest perimeter is a new earth bank which
is planted with hedgerow shrubs and flowers -hazel, blackthorn,
oak, holly, elder, honeysuckle, wild rose, columbine, foxgloves
and primroses. The road copse and right hand side are established
with large trees and undergrowth of gorse and sloe.
