The site is within an area of Outstanding Landscape Value so Memorials and headstones are not allowed but a discreet plaque can be placed on the grave. A full record will be kept of individual graves, and each grave is micro-chipped.
The right is reserved to fell trees for sound woodland management but the remains will be undisturbed. The site will always be a wood as far as it is possible to protect it under English Law. All trees and shrubs planted will be of local origin and chosen so as to reflect the makeup of a Devon Wood.

You can register an interest in a particular area of the site. As a tree will be planted on the grave,
double graves are not possible.

We now have 36 residents and 56 people have registered an interest in a plot when their time comes.

The erection of a log cabin is planned for early 2008 so ceremonies can be held undercover in inclement weather.
